Our Philosophy: Simple Ingredients, Extraordinary Flavours
At Pangea Food, we believe in the power of simplicity. By using just a few high-quality ingredients and a sprinkle of magic, we create delicious alternatives that can elevate any dish. Our journey begins with Italian chickpea flour for our aged products and self-produced soy yogurt for our fresh offerings. Through artisanal methods, we blend these ingredients to craft delectable vegan cheeses that enhance your culinary experience.

The Birth of Gondino: A Journey of Passion
In 2010, as long-time vegetarians and vegans, we recognised a gap in the market for a cheese substitute that could be used for grating over pasta or flaking onto dishes. After years of experimentation and dedication, we finally achieved a result that resonated with our vision—though it remained nameless, the prototype for Gondino had been born.

Establishing Our Production Lab
After five years of hard work, we opened our first production lab in 2015. This milestone allowed us to share our creations with the world, leading to requests from abroad and, inevitably, a wave of imitators. Yet, Gondino stands as the original and remains unmatched in its quality and flavour.

Expanding Our Team and Product Range
In 2019, we expanded our product line and relocated to a larger facility, welcoming our first external collaborator, followed by two more. Despite these growth milestones, we maintain our commitment to small-scale, artisanal production, free from the influence of larger companies seeking to profit from the vegan movement.

Facing Challenges with Resilience
Navigating the challenges of a competitive market filled with low-cost industrial products is no easy feat. Yet, our resolve remains steadfast—not only because Pangea Food is our passion but also because we hope to inspire a shift toward a compassionate diet that respects all living creatures and the environment we leave for future generations.
