Founded by Lisa and Andrew after their inspiring trip to New Zealand, Freda's started as a personal passion project and has blossomed into a beloved peanut butter brand. Lisa's dedication was so profound that she even sold her cherished Mini to fund their dream.

From humble beginnings, Lisa created her first flavours, encountering challenges along the way, including food processors that couldn’t keep up with her ambition. However, her perseverance paid off when she launched seven unique flavours at a tasting day, selling 100 jars and validating her vision.

Freda's journey continued to flourish, as Lisa and Andrew expanded their operations and built a community around their brand. They embraced opportunities, including a Gold Medal at the Devon County Show and strategic partnerships that enabled them to scale up production. Their first van, affectionately adorned with Freda's icons, became a symbol of their growing presence at food festivals and markets.

Even as the pandemic posed significant challenges, the resilience of Freda's shone through. The launch of their online shop became a lifeline, allowing loyal customers to continue supporting them during tough times. Their innovative spirit led to new flavours and collaborations, including a partnership with influencer Sam Hadadi, showcasing Freda's versatility in the kitchen.
