Like so many of us, Kinda Co.'s founder was a lifelong cheese lover who worried that giving up dairy might mean the end of her favourite indulgences. But instead of giving up, she took to the kitchen and started experimenting, crafting recipes that would satisfy even the most seasoned cheese aficionado—and Kinda Co. was born.
What began as a one-woman venture in a small Islington flat in 2017 has now grown into a full-fledged vegan cheese kitchen in North Somerset. Today, they offer 14 different varieties of dairy-free cheese, available at shops nationwide, through their website, and at markets across southern England. The brand has been recognised with 9 Great Taste Awards, a Taste of the West Gold Award, and countless 5-star reviews from customers who, like us, know that plant-based doesn’t mean giving up on taste or quality.
Kinda Co. has also expanded its passion for plant-based cheese through education, launching KindAcademy in 2021—a Vegan Cheese Masterclass where people can learn to create their own delicious cheeses at home.
